Welcome to my shop! I am Priestess Iyalode Ifaseye [ee-fah-sheh-yeh], a Certified Spiritual Herbalist, Spiritual Alignment Coach and Workshop Facilitator. After years of holding reputable positions in the corporate sector, I was met with opportunity to fully engage and become in alignment with my heart's desire to be a vessel of healing for others. Ori Naturals is an independently black woman owned small business, operated out of Brooklyn, NY.

Spiritual Herbalist
I believe in the healing power of plants and use nature's resources to create products for physical and energetic healing of the body, mind and spirit. The products are handmade in small batches using specific blends of sustainably sourced plants known for their healing properties to produce desired results.

My commitment is to deliver effective formulations that support physical and spiritual wellness. My motivation to tap into the healing power of plants and other natural resources came through the guidance of spirit. Plant medicine is incorporated to all aspect of the products I create - from herbal  tinctures, extracts, tea blends, oil infusions, to soaps, body butters, spiritual wellness baths and more.  

As a Certified Reiki Master, I understand the power that healing energy holds and therefore, the energy of Reiki is infused into my work.

Spiritual Alignment Coach
As a Spiritual Alignment Coach, I believe that in order for each person to discover a place of wholeness, balance between mind, body and spirit is necessary. I support and partner with clients in a way that encourages motivation toward their goals through self-discovery and empowered decision making.  Thus, bringing them into alignment with their authentic selves.

Effective coaching is about focusing on the client, building a trusting relationship by demonstrating attention to their needs while seeking to understand rather than judge. Listening to what is being communicated and providing encouragement to develop ideas on how to move toward their established goals.

The Name - Ori Naturals
Ori, in the Yoruba language of West Africa, refers to our spiritual head - our inner and highest self...our destiny. Being in alignment, body, mind and spirit will keep us on path to fulfilling our purpose. I believe, that embracing the healing power of nature's resources, in all its vastness, is also necessary to our journey. All that we need, Mother Earth provides!

The products are made with natural and organic ingredients and are free from harmful chemicals, such as sodium laurel sulfate, parabens, phthalates, petroleum by-products and preservatives or artificial coloring. The colors of the products derive solely from the blended natural and organic ingredients used.

How the Journey Began
This journey began with my first visit to West Africa in 2009. I noticed how velvety and smooth everyone's skin looked. I asked..."What do you use on your skin." I was told, "Shea butter."  I had been struggling with dry, itchy, and blotchy skin since childhood. The itchiness caused irritation and bumps which left blemishes all over my by body. Nothing "off the shelf" worked for me, including recommendations from dermatologists. 

I came back to the US with shea butter but quickly realized that it wasn't easily spreadable. After research and trials of formulations, I created a blend of body butter that brought healing to my skin. A fusion of butters and herbal infused oils yielding a product that is not only moisturizing and nourishing, but also easily absorbs into the skin. This started my journey of evolution to becoming the healer I am today. "It only takes a spark to get the fire going!"
